Subject: [HP3000-L] COBOL: how to move the value of an index pointer
into a variable

I have an index pointer, FDL-INDX, and say for example it is pointing to
the second row in a given array, FDL-ARRAY.

I wish to move the value of FDL-INDX (presumably, the number 2), into a
numeric variable, FDL-NUM PIC S9(4). How do I do this?

Thx as always,
Eben Yong
