I was going to suggest the same as Paul, but you might need to purge
"FTPFILES" inside the while loop.
If you want to keep a log of all FTP sessions, (useful if you have
intermittent errors that you are trying to isolate) then consider
redirecting FTPLIST/STDLIST to a deferred spoolfile (along with another
job to delete these spoolfiles after 24 hours or so).
