Quantum Software, a GUI MANMAN interface called XACTMAN, uses XML to
maintain Client configuration files.
So every time user fires up XACTMAN it detects whether the user needs a
software update and installs that. It also downloads to the PC various
static Image key fields (to reduce CPU overhead, apparently, but only if
the PC needs those fields refreshed.)
All decided with XML config files it seems. But since I don't know
exactly how the software does it, it's all 'magic' to me.
