Hello.

I've been going on two years on the sidelines. Been trying desperately to
re-start a career. I'm willing to start at the bottom--where there are
plenty of jobs, or even in the middle, where there nearly none. I'm NOT
really suited to management.

I've had my resume done, re-done, and re-re-done professionally. I've
polished it, smartened it, dumbed it down (the next step down is wide rule
paper and crayon). I've been to a half-dozen career advisors, all of whom
were nine/eighths useless. Still, I get replies of "You are
overqualified! GOODBYE!" I've asked for advice on classes I can take to
re-start my career. Mostly I get dumb looks--you have PLENTY of
education. In otherwords, "No, you'll STILL BE OVERQUALIFIED".

So far the best advice has been a lobotomy.

Does anyone else have suggestions?
