Merging data files ( records ) with Suprtool

Hi all,

As per the subject can it be done ?

I have 2 data files with different data in although they have a common 
record of the first 8 characters. Not all the records in file 2 will be in 
file 1 but the ones that are I'd like to take field 9 through field 80 and 
attach it to each record in file 1. Hopefully ending up with a third file 
of the 2 merged together.

If it's not possible with Suprtool any other ideas ? 

If not I'll just write up some JCL to read each record in file 1 and where 
there's a match in file 2 add the data as required.
