You could use the listf <fileset> ,9 to show locks or if it's a database
file you can also use DBUTIL "show <db> locks" to view files.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Access to system tables

Anyone any advice on accessing the HP3000 system tables - in particular
I want to be able find what files currently have an FLOCK on them.

(Background - we have on-going system performance problems; our
"amateur" observations in glance suggest our applications are impeding
due to high number of FLOCKs and/or Control Block waits : but several
traces in our in-house database handler have failed to identify any
major bottleneck; we suspect a rather subtle mix of third party
products and own applications are causing MPE to struggle and report
high number of impedes: e.g. processes slowing down and/or constantly
be swapped in and out of the MPE dispatcher. We have, at HP's
suggestion, system maintenance planned for Easter weekend, but I'm being
rather pessimistic that the cause is self-inflicted and thus won't go
away.

Thanks in advance.
