Both clients who have had this problem are using the MAXTAPEBUF option.
But, this doesn't happen most of the time, only periodically. Now that I
look at it,
it appears all of the time, as:
NON DEFAULT MEDIA BUFFER SIZE BEING USED.
CURRENT MEDIA RECORD SIZE IS: 32768.
So, nevermind the initial question. My next question is, why would the
drive not STORE
one day but do so fine other days. The "going bad" explanation doesn't
explain, necessarily,
why a new drive would do this. Could it be the media going bad? (It could
be a new drive that
is not up to QA, but not likely.) Thanks for your help.
