A recent survey found 40% of resumes contained padded qualifications. The
most common lie? Fake college courses or degrees, which shows the
importance of a good education in the job market. Or even a fake education:
Former RadioShack CEO Dave Edmondson, who resigned following questions
about two colleges he did not attend, will receive a cash payout worth at
least $1.03 million. Integrity has its own rewards, but so apparently does
deception.
Please do not share this information with our students: we need those
tuition dollars that Edmondson did not pay.
