I didn't realize that NetIPC was on HP9000 before, so Denys
email was a surprise. My HPUX box is not up and available so I
couldn't check for those librarys.
I would assume that your socket work would be using the (now)
standard BSD socket API (socket,bind,connect,listen,send,recv...).
The NetIPC API of ADDOPT/READOPT/INITOPT allowed you to specify
parameters to NetIPC like IP address, Port number, and a few options,
that in BSD sockets, are either included in the calling parameters,
or set/get via setsockopt/getsockopt.
