oh a confidence inspiring statement...
anyhow....
theoretically you can do what you're proposing. you, however, gave no
indication of the load on these boxes. if either box is running above
~75% utilization, trying to combine them is not really going to provide
the desired results. in the same way, you gave no indication of the
number of processes. itty-bitty load but high-count process can bring
a box to it's knees real fast.
i think you mentioned 100bt? in that size box, it's not going to buy
you anything...and may in fact perform worse than 10bt.
given everything, you might want to consider an a-class or small
k-class system. if the plan is to keep running these boxes for awhile,
the newer hardware is a vastly better idea. - d
