SUPRTOOL creates a lot of files with file type of "SD" (Self Describing).

Some of these files can be quite large, which is not a problem... there is lot's of space.

SUPRTOOL builds these files without the benefit of a file equation, hence the files are created
with a LOT of extents ... 2500 extents or more is normal.

What can I do to have SUPRTOOL allocate larger, and therefore less extents?

A little know "Extent B-Tree" table is biting us.

Regards,

-Craig
