I have contacted both Quest and VESOFT on this issue and have been told
that this is not supported, by either company. However, I have a need to
shadow transactions updating this proprietary file to my DR server
real-time and do not possess the necessary NS/3000 Services optional add-on
that would enable me to perform this function via VESOFT's $NET-SEND/Backg
process.

So, my question to the list is, "Has anyone successfully been able to
achieve real-time updates to this file using NETBASE (Shareplex/iX)
shadowing ?

I can shadow successfully the transactions during the day, but it would
appear that when my partial backup runs, this file drops out of sync. I
have tried subtracting out of the partial backup the SECURG file and when
this failed to prevent the out of sync situation, subtract the entire DATA
group of the VESOFT account also to no avail. I intend on trying the entire
VESOFT account tonight, but would appreciate it if anyone would share with
me any successes they've had either on or off list. Thank you in advance.
