My guess is that after you have replaced a 4GB drive with a 9GB drive, you
will still be using 4GB. The other 5GB will be wasted.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Mod20 question
I am sure someone has tried this...
I have a Mod20 that is populated with 16 * 4GB hard drives in mirror format
(8 Luns).
I need to upgrade the drives to 9GB drives (and use the 9GB capacity).
Is it possible to do that with out down time and a restore? i.e. could I
remove and replace one drive at a time?
TIA,
-Craig
