Hi Neil :)
   Um.. no... that black hole is located down near the washing machine's
transmission.... it also can effect said transmission and cause it to loose
parts/"thingies" causing the failure of the washing mashine...

P.S. just "fixed" the washing machine by moving it forward 2 feet...
running a load of wash ... moving it back 2 feet... so the black hole is
definitely locatecd in very close proximity of the transmission :) hehehe

This is confusing. I thought the tiny black hole in the closet was where
