I'm beginning to realize that every problem in the world is traceable to
George Bush.  Sorry it's taken me so long.  Why just the other night, the
batteries in my flashlight wore out, so I turned to my daughter and said,
"honey, this is George Bush's fault.  If he hadn't wasted so much time and
money on homeland security, there'd be more batteries in the store for
us".  She looked kind of puzzled, but I think if we beat this in her enough
times, she'll begin to catch on, too.  For certainly, we need to teach our
children that we are not in control of our own destinies...rather, it is
the responsibility of the President of the USA to see that every creature
on earth, spotted owls included, has an easy life.
