Hi all,

This position is presently on the back burner, and it appears to
me that it's not coming forth any time soon. My sincere apologies that
it's taken this long to respond, but I didn't have a definitive answer
as to what we're going to do (and I still don't).

I still have everyone's resume that responded, and should things
materialize on this end, I'll be in touch.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your
patience.

Regards,

Ray Shahan

Subject: Contract opportunity (Short term)

Hi all,

We have a need for a COBOL/VIEW/IMAGE contractor. The initial
contract will be for 90 days, and may possibly be extended after that.

The job will be just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

        Some requirements:
Must be very, very strong at
COBOL/VIEW/IMAGE/SUPRTOOL/QEDIT.
You must be able to work on-site here in Wisconsin
(Green Bay area) 5 days a week (telecommuting is not an option for this
assignment).
You must be able to work well under stress (lots of it).
You should be able to 'find your way
around' the system with a minimum of supervision/guidance (there will be
coding direction, but it will likely be short, and to the point. There
are folks available for help/direction, but they have other projects to
complete - hence the reason for this opening).
Previous experience with full SDLC and SOX compliance
procedures is a plus.
You must be able to start quickly (the sooner the
better).

Please send your resume directly to me - note: I will try to
answer each resume submission personally, however, if I am unable to,
please know in advance that your resume *will* be reviewed. If you are
selected for an interview, your resume will be forwarded to an IT
Staffing vendor that we already do business with for submission to the
interview team.

We plan to set up interviews by next week, and when/if a candidate is
selected, I will post that the opening has been filled to the list, so
that I don't leave anybody in Limbo.

Thanks in advance for your help, and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Regards,

Ray Shahan
