Got ya beat!
My wife took our 15 year old to work (silverwood theme park). It's 14
miles away, about a 20 minute drive. She noticed the gas price at one
station was 2.55 on the way to the park. On the way back it was 2.57
(20 minutes!!)

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] OT: How are you coping with gas prices?
In a week's time? How about overnight! When I drove in yesterday
morning, the prices were sitting at $2.49. When I left to go home last
night, they were sitting at $2.79. This morning on the way in to work
(wondering how long I can continue executing that 60 mile round trip
without taking out a second mortgage on my house), prices sat at $2.97.
I'm not even sure I want to see what they'll be by the time I head back
out this evening.
