Jim,

Can you telnet from another system and just not the MPE system?  Can you
ping from the MPE system to the Unix system?

What needs to be in place to enable the capability of
telnetting from an HP3000 server to an Oracle server and
get a login prompt?

When I telnet, open IP# I get "Unable to connect to remote
host".

Perhaps something in ARPA?
