great! the more the merrier (or something like that :-)

i can't imagine that there is any. afaik, no one ever had to sign-over
their contributions to interex. it's common knowledge that many csl
programs have been freely shared (gee, we beat napster by 20 years :-)
within the community for years -- and interex has never said/done a
thing.

i *think* hp has said the documentation would remain available.
however, i'm more inclined to agree with mike about having a legitimate
concern about things mpe-related disappearing overnight, without
warning <sigh>

all the gr patches and documentation are publically available. i don't
think there's a problem with downloading them (but i only play a lawyer
on tv :-). i know i have several of the manuals (pdf format)
downloaded (because it's sooooo much faster accessing them from our
intranet).

again, the more folks we got replicating stuff, the better. mpe
knowledge preservation is something we all can do. - d

ps1: 'wget' is our friend :-)
ps2: don't forget the really old mpe docs
ps3: thanks lars :-)
