I just purchased an HP/IO core card for my Series 969.  But when I  turn on
the power key it goes to Proceeding to turn DC on (it shows this message  on
the display) and it sits there.

Meanwhile on the console it displays 'p' and at the bottom of the console  it
shows:

ALL  0000     REMOTE:  Locked      inactive    multiple        ACCESS FAULT:
00
