I've been told that the openssh client does work interactively, although it
can be scripted. And the problem with interactive use is terminal I/O. Ssh
wants to be able to send and recieve at the same time, and MPE terminal I/O
won't.

This sounds familiar. Has this problem been "fixed" for any other port? Is
it fixable? If hp adopted openssh as a port, supported or not, is it likely
that they could fix it?
