The "could" of course was supposed to be COULDN'T.

The Qantas-CO partnership works this way -- I can use CO FFMs
for Qantas INTERNATIONAL flights to the US, and those ONLY,
unless it's a connecting flight within OZ.

The tricky Aussies plugged the lopehole of me using CO FFMs
to fly all over OZ and NZ. :-)

Not only that, but if they stick strictly to the 7 kilo for
carry-on, then I'll have less than 1 lb allowance for my
weight allowance above that of my laptop and its leather
carrier. :-)

That reminds me of a 4-day Bahamas cruise once in which ALL
my luggage didn't get there, and for 4 days my only clothing
was two pairs of swimming trunks purchased the last minute
at the Freeport Flea Market -- one for diving, and the other
one for wear the remaining time. :-))

One saving grace of the Auckland-Sydney cruise is that my
Elite status (if I make it by then) will include unlimited
free laundry and dry clean during the cruise, so that my
one penguine suit (for MANDATORY formal dinner wear) may
suffice for the entire cruise. :-)

That may be my attire for the Strike's Reef Fest. Heehee.

da Feeesh.
