Mate!  I'm glad that you're recuperating OK.  Having been frequently told
that I lack one, I'm not in a position to comment about the heart and
diving, (or, indeed, any other medical condition) but it did occur to me
that - because of the physiological requirements of diving - it might be
worth while consulting with a specialist who understands diving's
peculiarities. :-)

The Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society's (UHMS) website at
http://www.uhms.org/ has - about two-thirds of the way down the page - a
list of certified hyperbaric practitioners that you can search by location
for one nearest to you.

With a majority of the worlds most knowledgeable minds on hyperbaric
medicine
as members, you'll probably get excellent advice.  (Which is not to suggest
that you necessarily have to *listen* to it!  But it may provide peace of
mind. )  :-)
