Especially if you are expecting a telnet connection.

Newer Reflection for HP default to "Best Network", which really means try NS/VT, and if that doesn't work try telnet.  If you don't have NS/VT running, or there are firewall issues that are blocking the NS/VT ports (especially firewall DROP rules rather than REJECT) you will have to wait until Reflection things the NS/VT attempt has "timed out".

If you are waiting all that time for an NS/VT session to start with, nevermind, I dunno :-)
