We have EDITran version 6, the EDI translation software from TIE Commerce.
They dropped support for it a few years ago and I'm having a problem with
the translator.
Does anyone still use this software? If not, does anyone know who might
support it?
Here's my problem:
On the 810 outbound invoice, version 4010, I'm mapping 17 elements on the
IT1 segment. The flat file that the mapper generates is ok, but when I try
to run it through the translator to create the X12 file, it messes up the
13th element. Here's an example:
IT1|0001|12|EA|5.2||VP|123456|SK|ABC123|UP|000000000000|PO|XX01-00012345 01-
-00012345001|||CR000?
The 13th element is the "XX01-00012345 01- -00012345001". It should read
"XX01-00012345".
This also happens on the PO1 (on version 4010, the 13th element and on
version 3010, the 17th element).
Thanks,
Jim.
