I would like to encourage any staff member who is NOT a member of the Sick
Leave Bank to seriously consider joining.  This "costs" only 24 hours to
enroll (for full-time) and it is well worth it.

None of us plans to be seriously ill, but it can happen and, unfortunately,
it often does happen.

When you are seriously ill, the last thing you need to worry about is how
much time you have left on sick leave -- the Sick Leave Bank may help you
and give you the opportunity to put all your efforts into recovery.
