Wow, wasn't that a fun picnic -- just a "bit" hot, but did you notice the
rain held off until our program was over!

I must acknowledge folks who really helped make this a wonderful event --
if I don't have all your names, or I leave your name off, it is not on purpose.

First I want to thank the Obears for the wonderful "interim" job -- they
are, as so many have said today, the most hard-working, gracious and
supportive (of UTC) couple.  UTC is indeed fortunate to have them -- and we
will not let them go!

Big thanks to Xavier Flores and the Aramark staff for a job truly well
done, as usual; to the Facilities staff for setting up our event; Coca Cola
for furnishing the Coke truck for our use; Edy's Ice Cream (through
Aramark) for a good deal on the ice cream treats we all enjoyed; Joy's
Flowers for the lovely arrangement for the Obears; Barnes & Noble Bookstore
for the balloons and gift wrapping the big box; Balloon A'Fair for
balloons; Kyle Askew for the music (always a crowd pleaser); the great UTC
Cheerleaders -- Brittany Evans, Kara Ammons, Warren Shipley -- I know the
Obears really enjoyed seeing them; and Shannon Smith for being so generous.

Back Faculty/Staff Picnic -- same location, same time --there will be door
