Oh, you're no fun ;-)  There would been NO body due to it being such a
covert operation. Ok, too far fetched. Well, how about the standard - the
shark got him. Nah, sharks get the bad press too much these days :-(
Ah, I have it ... a perfectly legit scenario - the DM got caught in a
downcurrent and our 'man from J' valiantly tried to rescue him to no avail.
No body, no evidence, right.
