Hi y'all.

Late yesterday, we discovered that NSPROBE was operating (???) and quickly
filling its log file. Last night we rebooted one of the machines to shut
down NSPROBE and so far, that machine has had no further episodes with losing
name services. (The hows, whys and howcomes are unknown at this time.)

The other quirky thing was that a unix boxen we attach to via LPR was
refusing LPR. Seems the local boxen admin had, long ago, placed our machine
in its HOSTS file. *sigh*

Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions.
