hello donna,
> debug?? debug?? :-)
Yes sorry, debug is where I live, and yes you can see the record with the
"FOOBAR FORM" using FCOPY.
/HOFMESTR/WORK: fcopy from=o186.out.hpspool;to=;char
HP31900A.05.04 FILE COPIER (C) HEWLETT-PACKARD CO. 1999
O186.OUT.HPSPOOL RECORD 0 (%0, #0)
00000: FOOBAR FORM
O186.OUT.HPSPOOL RECORD 1 (%1, #1)
00000: 0TUE, MAR 22, 2005, 3:02 PM
O186.OUT.HPSPOOL RECORD 2 (%2, #2)
00000: .
O186.OUT.HPSPOOL RECORD 3 (%3, #3)
00000: .FILENAME
The clue you can use to determine if you have to open a spoofile and
retrieve the form name from record #1 of the spool file is the "F" found in
the FRM field displayed with the ":showout" command.
: /HOFMESTR/WORK: showout sp;job=@
