SSH is what is being requested by corporate, VPN or not. However I don't
think there is a viable solution and I think we will ultimately be exempted.
But I wanted to see if there was a solution and this is the best place I
know of to ask that question.

Thanks

Would VPN to the local network that the HP3000 is on suffice instead of SSH?

Or are the security requirements so high that the entity in question
requires a user use both at the same time?
