a message from Dr. Bob Swansbrough

Dr. Jeffrey Record will speak today, March 1, on "Iraq, the War on Terror
and Limits on U.S. Power."  The campus address will be held in the UTC
University Center's Auditorium, room 206, from 12:15 to 1:30 PM.

Dr. Record is professor of Strategy and International Security at the Air
War College, Maxwell Air Force Base (Montgomery, AL).  Professor Record has
authored seven books and over a dozen monographs on U.S. military strategy.

Dr. Record served on Capitol Hill as Legislative Assistant for National
Security Affairs to Senators Sam Nunn (GA) and Lloyd Bentsen (TX).  He also
worked as a professional staff member on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
