I am also curious about the future of the ListServ/Usenet Gateway.

A quick Google search for these keywords delivers web pages like

for example. Which makes me wonder if it might be possible to find
an existing gateway service somewhere on the internet that might be
willing to also add HP3000-L/comp.sys.hp.mpe -- any experiences in
this regard? Would those gateway services always be commercial?

If nothing else helps, could a gateway software be run on invent3k?
