This is part of the problem at HP. If the Board isn't astute enough to

HP Names Firm to Find Fiorina Successor
Hewlett-Packard put the search for ousted Chief Executive
Carly Fiorina's replacement in the hands of executive
recruiter Russell Reynolds Associates on Thursday, under a
contract that will bring the firm both cachet and cash.
The New York-based global firm got the nod to find
Fiorina's replacement over a field of competitors said
to include Korn/Ferry International Inc. and Spencer
Stuart. Russell Reynolds is expected to nab a fee of
some $3 million to $4 million just to complete the
search, not to mention the benefit of bragging rights
in a fiercely competitive business.
