May I check with you. What are the implications if you wish to change the

OS, Application for a big organization. What are the Plus and Minus Points.



Is it only Cost Cutting. What’s about the System Reliability, System

Performance, System Support, what’s about the existing System

Administrator’s, How friendly is the new OS Version ??



Like from MPE/iX  --- >> HP-UX -- >> Sun Solaris -- > Linux -- ??



Hopefully some has some good points to share here.
