N-Class systems come with two power supplies. Adding a third one is an
option. I've been told depending on configuration (how much memory,
CPUs and I/O cards are installed) the number of power supplies needed
to run can vary.

I have tested our N-Class 4x750 with 8 GB of memory and 6 FC, 2 100-BT,
and a dual port ultra SCSI. It continues to run with a single
processor.

I have been told, it will not boot with less then two processors.
