To Department Heads and Department Coordinators:

I am sure that many of you have received an email from the off campus
bookstsore Textbook Manager Shonte Maxey regarding staffing changes at the
UTC Bookstore. There has been no "recent shakeup" at the bookstore. It is
true that our former Text Manager is no longer with us, but as always we
will continue to aquire Course Book Information Requests (COBIRs) in our
usual manner.

Summer COBIRs have been sent out in this week and are due back March
4th. Fall COBIRs will be sent out next week and will be due on March
24th. The bookstore has always ensured that all-new and used textbooks
along with required supplies and course packets are available for students.

In an effort to provide better service and communication to you and the
students, I have set up an additional email address that is for textbook
correspondence. You can still send your textbook adoptions through the
bookstore web site (www.utc.bkstore.com) or our new web site
(www.books.utc.edu). By using these official web sites I can insure that
we are receiving and processing your textbook adoptions. Please save these
links in your address book for easy reference.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me anytime.
