Are you looking for date functions that can be used with programs or unix
variables?

C++ #include <time.h> and MFCobol both have date functions available.

There are some sites to check out:

mpe to hp-ux commands xref http://invent9k.external.hp.com/~csy/cmds.cgi

HP e3000 transition training http://jazz.external.hp.com/papers/

Hopefully these sites will help you find what you are looking for.

Best Regards
