Depending upon what state the volume is in, it may or may not need to be
SCRATCHVOL'd.
Generally, you VOLUTIL SCRATCHVOL all volumes that show LONER - otherwise
leave alone - DO NOT USE INITVOL.
Yes, you will need to SCRATCHVOL all the volumes since their respective
master has gone bad and the entire volumeset and accounts/groups contained
therein will need to be rebuilt and reloaded.
You are probably not able to SCRATCHVOL the TEST_VOL members because they
are mounted.
They can be dismounted by issuing the :VSCLOSE TEST_VOL command from the
console.
If any files in the TEST_VOL volumeset are in use, you will see a close
pending status with the DSTAT ALL command.
To rectify, ensure no files in that dataset are being accessed - think UDC
files as the most likely ones.
If you need more info, feel free to ask.
