Hi Brian :)
I am not sure about this one... but have you run Adager on the
database?

And someone help me out on this one... isn't there a tool in the
Robelle Library that identified damage in a database that then allowed you
to go in with other tools and remove damage and such... or was that OmniDex
and related Disc products?

Art "feeble recollections from a bygone era :) " Bahrs

In my hurry to get things done quicker I tried to abort the job
running the program that gave me the STALLED TRANSACTION problem.

Big mistake, aborting the job just trashed the data base:

TURBOIMAGE RESULT AT ???????; RETURN STATUS = 63
 DBOPEN, MODE 1, ON MUSIC
DBG DISABLED; POTENTIAL DAMAGE; ONLY DBCLOSE ALLOWED
HEX DUMP OF STATUS ARRAY FOLLOWS:
 003f 0003 0000 5143 0000 0191 4164 61c4 0001 0000

 **** PROGRAM QUIT; PARAM = 63
 ABORT: INDEXLOD.NMPRG.MUSICAT
 NM SYS a.010061ec dbg_abort_trace+$28
 NM PROG dc.0000cf78 _start+$4b0

Program terminated in an error state. (CIERR 976)
 REMAINDER OF JOB FLUSHED.
 CPU sec. = 4. elapsed min. = 1. MON, JAN 3, 2005, 7:26 PM.

Good thing I have a good backup of the data base which I can restore
from...

Brian.
