A client of mine is suddenly having with a number of TurboIMAGE databases
on his HP3000. Attempts to open these databases with Query returns the
message "DBG POINTED TO BY ROOT FILE DOES NOT MATCH". DBOPENs return a
condition word of 66. The TurboIMAGE manual says the meaning of this is
"Root file is not compatible with DBG", and the action to take is to
"Notify HP support personnel", which is less than helpful.
The client is able to recover by restoring the affected databases from
backups. The machine is an N4000, running MPE 7.5.
Anyone have any idea what is going on, and what causes this?
