Starting today, you are seeing some changes to the Scrappy announcement
listserve.

To better communicate important information regarding deadlines,
registration, class schedules, etc., to students, we are moving the
announcements of campus and student events to UTC OnLine, which is
supported by BlackBoard on our campus.

Only messages of primary academic or registration significance will be
distributed regularly on the Scrappy email list. So, if you've got
friends who say they never read these emails, let them know that they
should start checking them out.

For the many students who want to know what's happening on campus, you
can now get that information in an easy to use on-line community
through UTC OnLine (BlackBoard).

Access to the Scrappy on UTC On Line does not require you to log in,
but you can if that's what you're accustomed to doing.

Just go to http://bb2.utc.edu Either log in or click Preview on the
left. You can get to Scrappy announcements from the toolbox on the
left.

Once there, you will find announcements for Academics, Campus News,
Student Organizations Events and Regularly Scheduled Meetings, Fine
Arts Events, Job and Volunteer Opportunities, and Sports Events.

Log in today to find out how to be Chancellor for Day or how to
audition for SGA's Apollo Night (Student Organizations Events), about 5
on 5 intramural basketball (Sports Events) and where you can view
student artwork (Arts Events). There's something to meet every
interest.

We hope this new system will help further communication on our campus.

Thanks.
