Hi all,

My doctor has warned me that my life of beer, keyboards/remote control, and enchiladas is got to change (what the h_ll does he know?!). He suggested running (but no one's chasing me with a gun), giving up the beer and/or enchiladas (what! And then die of thirst and/or starvation!), and then he mentioned something about an exercise program (my wife heard this suggestion...dam!).

Sooooo, my wife has taken up the task of my health (and ain't gonna let it go!), thus, I decided to buy an exercise machine (did I imply that I made a decision, excuse me, how utterly pretentious of me, my loving wife decided to buy an exercise machine (an elliptical...yeeeehaaa!...)). We (there I go again...I mean SHE) has it narrowed down to the "Horizon Fitness 4.1" or the "Schwinn 428P", and I'm hoping to get any info on reliability for these two machines from the list (if you have the time, of course).

BTW, I was stunned at the fact that an exercise machine can easily cost as much as a decent used car!!!!

TIA for any help/info

;-D

Soon to be the lean-and-mean-yes-dear-I'll-take-out-the-trash machine!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty and
well preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming:

        -- WOW!!! What a Ride! --
