If you have MPEX you can skip the restore step. You would still run your
BULDACCT and create your new account structure. Then just rename all of
your files from account X to account Y. Ex. RENAME @[log in to unmask], =.=.YACCT

HTH!

is there a simple way to rename an account including users, groups and all
files currently in the account?

i could us buldacct and rebuild the account and then restore from a backup
all of the files but I'm looking for a simple way to do this.
