just a comment about the shutdown udc...
part of why i wrote the udc was to give my operators a way to do a
unattended shutdown. they type in 'shutdown'....confirm it with a
reply (paranoia is our friend)...and then they can walk away from the
console to babysit the unix boxes (:-). i realize that everyone's
needs are different so you may not care about this. - d
