I agree with this, Ray. OT threads used to be informative, entertaining and
rare; because people were courteous and respectful even when they
disagreed. That's not true any more, and the reason I turned OT off. I have
better things to do than delete dozens of message each day. When people
post off-topic stuff without the OT tag, the utility of this list goes down
even further to the point where I am ready to follow Tom and Tim out the
door. I've had it.
