Square miles of
counties won

Bush 2,432,603mi 2439 counties
Gore 577,029  mi  674 counties

 2004
Square miles of
counties won

Bush  3.28 million
Kerry  741,000

So the US had 3,009,632 square miles in 2000 and
4,021,000 square mile in 2004

Not bad we grew by 25%!
