All students and faculty are invited to the following FREE seminar and
lecture sponsored by the Philosophy and Religion Department.

Wednesday, November 3rd
3:00 p.m. 303 Holt Hall
Professor Irven Resnick will present a seminar entitled "Medicine and
Medieval Theology".
This presentation will investigate ways in which medieval theologians
explained the
consequences of original sin for the human body, as the ultimate origin for
illness and disease.
The presentation is open to the public.


Friday, November 5th
12:00(noon) 129 Grote Hall
Georgia Southern Professor of Russian History, John Steinberg, will present
a slide lecture
entitled "Holocaust Sites of Poland", based on his research funded by the
Holocaust Education Foundation.
The presentation is open to the public and is supported by UTC's Chair of
Excellence in Judaic Studies and
the Dept. of Philosophy and Religion.
