Hello Everyone,

Next Monday, November 22, at 7:30 in the Hayes Concert Hall, the UTC
Percussion Ensemble will present what has become a Chattanooga
tradition: Beat Hunger. "Beat Hunger" is an annual event which is
the UTC Percussion Ensemble, raising money and food for the
Chattanooga Community Kitchen. This benefit concert has become the
traditional start of the Christmas giving season. Admission is two
non-perishable food items, or a two dollar check to the Community
Kitchen (We are unable to accept cash donations on campus). And
then, there's the music!

Very special guest conductor Maestro Jooyong Ahn, Conductor the UTC
Orchestras, will conduct the beautiful "Nimrod" variation from
Elgar's Enigma Variations for orchestra.

Lending their formidable talents on this program will also be guest
performers UTC alumni Michelle Young (vocals), David Pedigo
(electric guitar), and Gary Hicks (electric bass guitar).

A spendid time is guaranteed!
