Thanks for the links, but to be honest, both aren't particularly impartial.

Richard Ali kindly sent me one 'off list':

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,1323921,00.html

I found this one, which goes a bit further:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2004/10/10/do1001
.xml&sSheet=/opinion/2004/10/10/ixopinion.html

This last one implicates Dick Cheney and Halliburton. Although there's not
much hard evidence there:

I guess it's still a 'wait and see' what the enquiry comes up with, but with
Kofi Annan as part of the group, I'm not sure how impartial that is going to
be.

Richard, I am not surprised but I am disappointed that this Oil-for-food
kickback scandal is not covered by the press in Europe. It's pretty
bad.

If you go to Google and enter '"oil-for-food" france germany iraq Russia
kickbacks' you will be deluged with hits.

Here is a pretty tame example.

Here is today's editorial from National Review on the latest
developments.

I haven't seen anything about this story other than on this list. I am
not
saying it's not true, but I haven't seen anything credible saying these
stories are accurate in any way.

Does anyone actually have links to credible sources.

Still haven't read anything about Germany.

Again, money looted from the Oil for Food program that went
to buy things from Germany.
